The story behind

When Paulo Londra announced Nena Maldición, he left everyone expectant. The song, released on January 29, 2018, was presented as the second single from his first album, Homerun. What's interesting is that, although it was released in 2018, the official publication date was January 29, but the announcement with the cover art came a few days earlier, on January 14. The main composition was by Londra, with production by Ovy on the Drums, who shaped a sound described as a sweet Latin ballad, yet nourished by reggaeton and Latin trap.

The impact in Argentina was notable. Nena Maldición entered the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 in October 2018, reaching position 61 and remaining on the chart for 14 weeks. The music video, premiered on the same day as the song, was directed by Jonathan Quintero and featured the participation of Colombian model and dancer Isabela Castro Arango. The initial impact was immediate: on its first day, it surpassed two and a half million views on YouTube, positioning itself among the main trends in Latin America. By November 2021, the video had crossed the one billion views barrier, a milestone that made it the second most viewed video on Londra's channel, surpassed only by Adán y Eva. This also marked Paulo Londra as the first Argentine musical artist to have two of his videos reach that figure. The song also featured the collaboration of Lenny Tavárez, adding his voice to this proposal.
