The story behind
Gianluca Grignani recorded "La mia storia tra le dita" in 1994, as the first single of his album Destinazione Paradiso. He first performed the song at the Sanremo Festival, and from there it started playing on Italian radio. It is a soft theme, with a rhythm that gets into your body. He also recorded it in Spanish, as "Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos", and included it in the same 1995 album.
In Brazil, the song became known thanks to versions like "A Minha História" by José Augusto, which is very close to the original, and "Quem de Nós Dois" by Ana Carolina, which follows the melody but not the lyrics. Later, other artists like Marlon & Maicon and BokaLoka also re-recorded it. In 2025, Laura Pausini re-performed it in four languages, including a French version.
