Although the original lineup underwent changes due to the passing of Mercury in 1991 and the retirement of Deacon, the essence of their musical project remained. In the mid-70s, they achieved great popularity in Great Britain with works such as Sheer Heart Attack (1974) and A Night at the Opera (1975), the latter marking their international projection.
