It's surprising that the song's ending comes from a demo recorded in their early days, when the band played in clubs, titled *Voodoo Queen*.

This song, released in October 1984, was the last single from the album *1984* during the band's initial phase, which spanned from 1974 to 1985. The recording took place in 1983 at 5150 Studios in Studio City. The music video, filmed at John Marshall High School, adds a visual layer to the song's energy, with the band members playing both students and adults. The drum intro, which some compared to the sound of a Lamborghini engine, was actually constructed by Alex Van Halen using a Simmons electronic drum kit, combining rudiments and double bass.
