The story behind
Kool & the Gang released "Good Time Tonight" on an album titled *Something Special*. The song is four and a half minutes long and was written by Dolly Parton. She recorded seven new songs on that album, including this one, and also re-recorded three old ones: "Jolene," "The Seeker," and "I Will Always Love You," the latter as a duet with Vince Gill.
