The story behind
Andrés Calamaro released Flaca in 1997, as the second single from his solo album Alta suciedad. The song was recorded between October 1996 and June 1997, in Miami and New York, with studio musicians. It was the second song after Loco. In the music video, Calamaro appears singing surrounded by women who are shown one by one, some smoke, others laugh or make gestures. Then he is seen in a limousine, holding a gift and filming his journey. It ends by the sea, throwing an object that lands in the center of the video. The song became very popular, with over 395 million views on YouTube. In 2006, Los Pericos did a cover version. In 2017, Calamaro presented an acoustic version during a tour in Lima. ↓ Skip to chords
