Lucio Battisti wrote Fiori rosa, fiori di pesco in 1970, as part of the Álbum Emozioni. The song was released in June of that year, along with Il tempo di morire, which was the B-side. The lyrics were written by Mogol, and the arrangement was done by Detto Mariano. It was a big success, won the Festivalbar, and was Battisti's second consecutive victory after Acqua azzurra, acqua chiara in 1969. The song was performed by him himself, and was later interpreted by other artists such as Mina or Cristiano De André. The duration is three minutes and sixteen seconds.
