The story behind
Elefantes en Europa, according to DoReSol
The song *Elefantes en Europa* by Divididos, with music by Diego Arnedo and Ricardo Mollo, is from the album Narigón del siglo, released in the year 2000. This work, which marked a consolidation stage for the Argentine band, was recorded at Abbey Road studios. The mixing was handled by Chris Brown and Alex Scannell, while the production was shared between Divididos and Afo Verde. The graphic design of the album, including the drawings by Diego Arnedo and the art by Alejandro Ros, complemented the sonic proposal.
The album title, Narigón del siglo, was explained by Ricardo Mollo as a reference to those who, in his opinion, defined the decades of the 80s and 90s, associating them with lies and cocaine consumption. With a duration of 3 minutes and 25 seconds, Elefantes en Europa is part of an album that, in addition to being popular among Divididos' followers, received critical acclaim.
