The story behind
Dicha feliz, according to DoReSol
When you dive into Dicha feliz, you encounter a sonic proposal that departs from the conventional. The song, which lasts 3 minutes and 40 seconds, is part of Locura, the fifth studio work by Virus. This album, released in 1985, marked a turning point for the Argentine band, being considered by Federico Moura himself as the most elaborate and with a deeper exploration of the sexual. It was not only a personal favorite but also became their most successful production in sales, surpassing 200,000 copies in Argentina.
With Locura, Virus joined a musical movement that was leaving its mark throughout America. They shared the stage and resonance with other important names of the era such as Soda Stereo, Miguel Mateos/ZAS, Enanitos Verdes, GIT, and Los Violadores. The impact of this record was such that it transcended borders, being recognized in rankings of the best albums of Ibero-American rock. In fact, in 2006, the American magazine Al Borde placed it at number 158 on its list of the 250 best rock albums in Ibero-America, a recognition that underscores its relevance beyond the local sphere.
