Later, he recorded Nos sobran los motivos (2000), Dos pájaros de un tiro (2007), and La orquesta del Titanic (2012) with Joan Manuel Serrat. In his literary facet, he has published nine books, collections of lyrics or poems that appeared in the magazine Interviú. In 2001, a minor cerebral infarction led him to a period of recovery and depression, after which he resumed his career with albums such as Dímelo en la calle (2002) and Alivio de luto (2005). His latest solo work to date is Vinagre y rosas, released in 2009, which sold 200,000 copies in its first month.
