The story behind

Tears for Fears formed in Bath in 1981, two guys who met as teenagers. They started in a band called Graduate, which played new wave rock. Then they split up and formed another, called History of Headaches, and later took the name they have now. The song Broken is part of an album called The Hurting, released in 1983. It was the first album to reach number one in the United Kingdom. The music is synthesized, with rhythms that recall the 80s.
