The story behind

A Ti, according to DoReSol

The song A Ti, written by Ricardo Arjona, presents a facet of the artist that moves away from large productions to focus on the intimacy of a composition. Recorded in 2005, this piece was part of his tenth studio album, Adentro. It was released as a single in March 2006, and its journey led it to be included also in the compilation Quién Dijo Ayer in 2007. In this latter work, the song acquired a new dimension by being reinterpreted alongside Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti, showcasing the versatility of the original composition. The production of A Ti was handled by Ricardo Arjona himself along with Carlos Cabral "Junior", under the Sony BMG Music label.

The album Quién Dijo Ayer, released in 2007, marked a milestone as it was the singer's last work with Sony before his move to Warner Music Group. This compilation not only gathered past hits but also presented them in renewed versions and with collaborations from various artists. Among them were Panteón Rococó, Marc Anthony, Fernando Otero, Sandro, Marta Sánchez, and, of course, Eros Ramazzotti on the version of A Ti. Critics at the time highlighted the quality of this work, calling it one of the best of Arjona's career, and praising the interpretations and arrangements of the songs. The recorded duration for A Ti is 4 minutes and 43 seconds, although some music databases specify a slightly longer duration of 4 minutes and 49 seconds.
