The story behind

Tú, according to DoReSol

The song *Tú* (whose canonical title is *Tu Reputación*) has a duration of 4 minutes and 48 seconds. This musical piece is part of the compilation album *Quién Dijo Ayer*, released in 2007. What's interesting about this work is that it's not a simple collection of hits, but rather includes renewed versions of well-known tracks, exploring different musical styles. For these new interpretations, Ricardo Arjona collaborated with various guest artists, such as Panteón Rococó, Marc Anthony, Fernando Otero, Sandro, Marta Sánchez, and Eros Ramazzotti. The production of this album was handled by Arjona himself, along with Tommy Torres, Dan Warner, and Lee Levin. This release marked the end of his cycle with Sony Music before joining Warner Music Group.

Ricardo Arjona Morales, born in Jocotenango, Guatemala, in 1964, is a singer-songwriter whose musical career spans a wide range of genres, from ballads to Latin pop, rock, and more contemporary rhythms. Known for his particular lyrical style, he often addresses social and deeply reflective themes in his compositions, touching on issues such as love, racism, immigration, or religion. By 2011, his discography included thirteen studio albums, one live album, nine compilations, and forty-three singles. His impact on the music market is reflected in the charts: four of his albums reached the number one spot on the Billboard Top Latin Albums in the United States, and ten reached the same position in Argentina. Additionally, four of his works charted on the Billboard 200. As for singles, four of them topped the Billboard Top Latin Songs, and seven more also achieved notable success.
