Plain White T’s

A key moment in their career was the release of their single "Hey There Delilah," which not only became a huge hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but also earned them two Grammy nominations. This song, which Higgenson wrote inspired by an athlete, was released on their album Every Second Counts, which was recorded with a new version that included string arrangements. This change in their sound was part of a broader transformation for the band, which began to take their musical career more seriously after an accident that left Higgenson with back injuries.
