More about Flou
Biography
The impact was great, and soon the band won an important place in the local scene. With that, they decided to launch their first independent album and do several shows with a lot of people. In December of that year, they organized an international show, inviting Cabezones from Argentina, and recorded a video clip that later included in their material.
The record label Kamikaze Records noticed them and put them in the studio in 2003 to record their first LP, *Ataraxia*. The album had bases of Nu Metal and Melodic Rock, and included the same songs from the demo, but improved. Before starting, Ariel Insfrán left the band, and the rhythm guitar passed to the vocalist, Walter Cabrera. So, Flou went from being a quintet to a quartet.
The launch was at the Centro Cultural de la Ciudad de Asunción, in La Manzana de la Rivera, halfway through that year. They did shows in Asunción and interior cities, promoting the album first with Kamikaze and then independently. The LP became a favorite among many young people, with songs that transmitted rage and lyrics that identified with the audience. Over time, Flou's fans helped grow the band, something uncommon in the Paraguayan scene.
