Ooh Yeah!

In 1988, Daryl Hall and John Oates released Ooh Yeah!, their thirteenth studio effort. This album marked a new chapter for the duo, being their first release under the Arista Records label and their first record production in four years. Although the album achieved platinum status in the United States and spawned a single that reached number three on the charts, "Everything Your Heart Desires", along with others like "Missed Opportunity" and "Downtown Life" which were also well-received, its overall performance on the charts and in sales did not match their previous works. Ooh Yeah! is also notable for being the last album on which Janna Allen collaborated as a co-writer, before her passing in 1993.
