About the album

La voz del viento, according to DoReSol

Within La voz del viento, there are songs that resonate particularly. Una noche sin ti is, without a doubt, one of the most remembered compositions from the album, capturing an emotiveness that connects directly with the listener. Another highlight is the performance of La Solís Pizarro, where Los Huayra join renowned figures such as Chaqueño Palavecino, Los Nocheros, Juan Carlos Saravia, and Polo Román from Los Chalchaleros. This collaboration not only enriches the musical piece but also underscores the group's connection to Argentine folk tradition and their ability to fuse generations.

The path of Los Huayra, which began in 1995 with classmates from Colegio Salesianos in Salta, led them to explore different facets of folklore. After their debut in 2005 and recognition as Revelation at the National Festival of Doma y Folklore of Jesús María that same year, La voz del viento represented a consolidation of their proposal. Subsequently, albums such as Código de Barro (2008), Pueblo and Misa Criolla (both from 2011), the latter awarded a Gardel Award in 2012, and their live album Vivo (2013), demonstrated the continuity of their work until their latest album, Gira, released in 2016.
