About the album

Hi Infidelity, according to DoReSol

The title plays on the word "high fidelity," which previously appeared on album covers. The cover shows a scene that seems to suggest infidelity, while a man places an LP on a hi-fi system. The song Keep On Loving You was their first number one, and Take It on the Run reached number five. Other songs also made history, such as Tough Guys, which used a snippet from a 1937 short film.

In 2004 they recorded the album live for a special broadcast. In 2011 it was reissued with demos recorded in 1980. And in 2024 it was remastered for a vinyl and streaming release.
