They recorded it in March 2024 at Electric Lady, the New York studio where Jack Antonoff often works when he’s aiming for that clean yet layered sound. Antonoff, besides producing, co-wrote the track with Sabrina Carpenter and Amy Allen, and the result is a blend of yacht rock, disco-pop, and even a nod to country pop in the arrangements.
