Pega-Pega

The song Pega-Pega stands out for its contagious energy and vibrant rhythm, capturing the essence of urban life and marginality. With a duration of 3:42, this piece is part of the debut album by Los Piojos, titled Chactuchac, released in 1992. The song's sound evokes the experience of a moving train, filled with characters reflecting diverse realities. Musically, it blends eighties reminiscences with rock elements, creating a unique fusion that resonates with the audience.

The recording of Chactuchac took place between June and August 1992 at Estudios Del Cielito, under the direction of Adrián Rivarola and the band itself. This album compiles compositions that Los Piojos had been performing live since their formation in 1988. The 2007 re-edition by El Farolito Discos allowed new generations to discover this work, which, despite being a debut, already showcased the band's solidity and distinctive character. The blend of styles and the authenticity of its lyrics make Pega-Pega a song that invites listeners to immerse themselves in the world of Los Piojos and enjoy their musical proposal.
