The story behind
The song *L'olimpiade* has a duration of 3 minutes and 42 seconds, a detail that gives us a first clue about the structure and development of the piece. While the original text does not delve into the specific musical aspects of this particular song, it does allow us to glimpse the beginnings of Tiziano Ferro, who was born in Latina in 1980. His first contact with music came at the age of five, with a Christmas gift that marked the beginning of his journey: a small keyboard. From a very young age, Tiziano showed an inclination for composition, creating his own musical bases with simple resources and recording them. In fact, some of these early creations, made at the age of seven, found their place at the end of the album Nessuno è solo.
Tiziano Ferro's path to music was not without its challenges. During his adolescence, he went through difficult times, dealing with shyness and weight problems. Music became his refuge and the driving force for his training, participating in guitar, singing, piano, and drums classes. An important milestone was his entry into the Coro Gospel of Latina in 1996, where he discovered and fell in love with the rhythms and sounds of African-American music. That same year, he also explored voice acting, taking a dubbing course and collaborating with local radio stations. His perseverance led him to participate in contests, such as Caccia alla frase on Italia 1, and to enroll in the Accademia della Canzone of Sanremo in 1997, with an eye on the 1998 Festival. It was this drive, combined with his work, that would eventually lead him to release his debut album, Rosso relativo, in its Italian and Spanish versions.
