Jangadero

The story behind

Milo J recorded Jangadero as part of his album La vida era más corta, released in 2025. The song takes place in a space where Spanish mixes with voices of indigenous languages, as if sound were a conversation between cultures. The piece touches on the theme of a man who moves between the real and the imaginary, as if he were walking through a place that does not exist entirely. The voice of Mercedes Sosa appears in an unreleased fragment, as if it were a voice from another time approaching the present. The song lasts just over four minutes, but in that time it leaves a mark. It was recorded in Buenos Aires and Santiago del Estero, with vocal arrangements that give it a special touch.
