The story behind
Imbranato, according to DoReSol
The song Imbranato, released on January 18, 2002, was a turning point in the career of Tiziano Ferro. As the third single from his debut album, Rosso relativo, this piece proved to be a resounding success, resonating strongly not only in Italy but also in international markets such as Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, France, Spain, and Mexico. Its impact was such that a Spanish version, titled Alucinado, was released specifically for Spain and Latin America, reaching the top of the charts in Mexico and Spain. The track, with a duration of 5:03, is classified within Pop and contemporary R&B, and was composed entirely by Tiziano Ferro, with production by Alberto Salerno and Mara Maionchi under the label EMI Music.
The album that originated Imbranato, Rosso relativo (or Rojo relativo in its Spanish version), marked the beginning of Tiziano Ferro's career. Initially, the first single was Xdono. The surprising acceptance and high sales of the album led Tiziano to consider recording in Spanish. This step proved to be very successful, as the single Perdona achieved gold status, and it was with Alucinado that the album achieved platinum certification in Mexico. Tiziano's story with music began at a very young age, when at 5 years old he received his first toy keyboard. By the age of seven, he was already composing his first songs, recording his ideas with a simple tape recorder. His adolescence, marked by shyness and the struggle with bulimia, found refuge and an escape route in music, leading him to take private lessons in various instruments. In 1996, at sixteen years old, he joined a gospel choir in Latina, where he deepened his interest in the rhythms of African-American music.
