The song *Gil* by Milo J, part of his album *La vida era más corta*, immerses us in a sound that fuses trap with roots of Argentine folklore and electronic touches. The piece, with a duration of 3 minutes and 54 seconds, is distinguished by integrating fragments in indigenous languages, adding a layer of cultural depth to its urban proposal. This work was gestated in studios located in Buenos Aires, complemented by recording sessions that extended to Santiago del Estero, seeking to capture a particular atmosphere for the album.

*La vida era más corta*, released in 2025 under the label Sony Music Latin, is organized into fifteen tracks distributed in two parts. The album draws on very diverse collaborations, featuring the participation of artists such as Trueno, Soledad, Paula Prieto, Akriila, Radamel, Cuti, and Roberto Carabajal, in addition to the presence of Silvio Rodríguez. A highlight is the inclusion of an unreleased recording by Mercedes Sosa in the song *Jangadero*, and the vocal arrangements by Agarrate Catalina that enhance several of the compositions.
