The story behind
El adiós, according to DoReSol
The song El adiós, with its duration of 3 minutes and 5 seconds, presents us with a voice that rises with a particular power and beauty, characteristics that distinguished it in the musical landscape of the late sixties and early seventies. Its style moved between the more classical interpretation and the pop of the era, managing to connect with a wide audience thanks to the quality of its material and that unmistakable voice that set it apart from those who tried to imitate it.
Born as Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis in Ayelo de Malferit, Valencia, in 1944, this artist, known as Nino Bravo, grew up in the neighborhood of Sagunto. From a young age, influenced by figures like Luis Mariano and later by Tom Jones, he took his first steps in music. He was part of groups like Los Hispánicos and Los Superson, performing at events and venues in the Valencian Community. In March 1969, his performance at the Teatro Principal in Valencia, where he performed hits of the moment, received favorable reviews, which led him to sign a record deal. His second studio album, recorded under the direction and production of José Luis Torregrosa and released in 1971 by the label Polydor Records, included songs like Puerta de amor, Mis noches sin ti, and Amanecer.
