When Sui Generis recorded Confesiones de invierno in 1973, they already had a first album that had put them on the map. But this second work, released by the label Talent, was what truly boosted their recognition, and especially that of Charly García. He was responsible for most of the songs, and among them was Aprendizaje. This song, along with others like Rasguña las piedras or Lunes otra vez, became fundamental pieces of their repertoire, the kind that are sung and remembered, integrating into popular culture.

At this stage, Sui Generis's music showed greater maturity. The compositions became more elaborate, with a progressive touch, and the lyrics acquired greater depth, without losing that youthful spark that characterized them. Aprendizaje, with a duration of 3:45, is an example of that sonic and lyrical evolution that Charly García captured on the album, consolidating the duo's sound.
