Ovy On The Drums

Daniel Echavarría Oviedo, known to us as Ovy On The Drums, is a key figure behind many of the sounds that define today's urban genre. His work as a producer and composer has shaped songs that resonate on hit charts and in the music scene. Since his beginnings, his focus has been on creating beats and atmospheres that become the foundation of hits.

His journey began in Medellín, where life in Comuna 13 marked his early years. Before dedicating himself fully to music, he worked in everyday jobs, but the creative spark appeared around the age of 17. It was in 2012 when a friend introduced him to FL Studio, a tool that became his laboratory for starting to produce and sell his first beats. He left his music production studies to collaborate with other Colombian artists, a step that would lead him to cross paths with Karol G. He joined her as her DJ on local tours, and in 2014 they released their first collaboration, titled Ricos Besos.
