Leoni

When Leoni began to explore music, he did so from the bass, forming his first rock band called Chrisma with school friends. That restlessness led him to join Kid Abelha in 1981, where he served as bassist and main songwriter. At that stage, he shared the project with George Israel and Paula Toller, who would later be joined by Bruno Fortunato. The band, which came to be known as Kid Abelha e os Abóboras Selvagens, was formed from the idea of Leoni and Beni Borja, who was also a friend and member of Chrisma.

Around 1986, Leoni felt the urge to bring his own compositions to the forefront, and with that goal, he founded Heróis da Resistência. With this new band, he recorded three albums, achieving a gold record and positioning songs like Só Pro Meu Prazer and Double de Corpo. However, as time went by, the artistic visions of the members of Heróis da Resistência began to take different paths, which eventually led to the group's dissolution.
