Before Strangers exploded on social media, there were earlier attempts that led her to that point. In 2019, she released Obsessed and Tell Me Why, the latter written in a moment of frustration, with words still trembling from an argument. Later, in 2023, Afterparty Lover and Meteor marked a shift toward brighter sounds, as if she were refining the style that would later define her. But it was in July of that year when everything changed: a video on her TikTok account, with her playing the track on electronic pads, amassed millions of views in days. She wasn't seeking virality, just sharing what she had created.
