Generation 12 was born in 2007 in Bogotá, Colombia, as the praise ministry of the International Charismatic Mission Church. Since then they have been making Christian music, with lyrics based on the Word of God.Over the years, they have recorded with a long list of artists: Christine D'Clario, Miel San Marcos, Redimi2, Marcos Brunet, Fernandinho, Marco Barrientos, Marcela Gándara, Evan Craft, Grupo Barak and DJ PV, among others.As for awards, they have accumulated nominations for the Arpa Awards and the GMA Dove Awards. In the latter, they were nominated on three separate occasions until 2023, when they won the award thanks to their album Tu Reino Está Aquí.
