More about FireHouse
Biography
As the 1990s progressed, FireHouse maintained a strong fanbase in Asia, particularly in Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. Although their success in the United States began to decline, they continued releasing material that was well-received in Japan and embarked on international tours, participating in the Rock Never Stops Tour. The band has sold over 7 million albums worldwide since their debut, reflecting their lasting impact on rock music.
The story of FireHouse dates back to the search for a drummer for the band White Heat, where guitarist Bill Leverty joined Michael Foster. Their paths crossed with vocalist C. J. Snare and bassist Perry Richardson when both were part of Maxx Warrior. After the dissolution of the latter, Leverty and Foster invited Snare to join them, leading to the formation of FireHouse. Their first major breakthrough came in 1989, when an Epic Records representative attended one of their shows and offered them a recording contract. With the production of David Prater, they released their first albums, cementing their place in rock history. Over the years, they have experienced lineup changes but have maintained their essence and passion for music.
