Beéle

Beéle doesn’t sound like an artist who came to stay in one genre, but rather someone who invents a new one every time. His music breathes that Caribbean that pulses between Barranquilla and the rest of the world: it blends dancehall with percussion that seems to come from an open-air market, and lyrics that dance between the romantic and the streetwise. It’s not just the rhythm that hooks you, but that way of making the tropical sound fresh without losing its essence. When you listen to his songs, you feel like you’re in a place where the sun never sets, even if the base is urban.

Everything changed in 2019 with «Loco». It wasn’t just another viral track: the song slipped into playlists everywhere and stayed there, like that friend who always invites you to dance even if you don’t invite them. The melody is simple but effective, and the lyrics —which talk about love and heartbreak with that carefree touch— connected with people who don’t usually listen to reggaeton or dancehall. Then came «Calor», which reinforced his style: less strident than other hits of the moment, but with a groove that doesn’t fade. He wasn’t aiming to top the charts, but rather to make his music sound like something that already existed, yet no one had recorded it like this.

More about Beéle

Biography

In 2025, with Borondo, he took a leap into something more ambitious. The album has 26 songs, but it’s not an overloaded record: it’s a journey. There are collaborations that sound natural, as if they’d always been there, and tracks that flow between acoustic and electronic without forcing the shift. He recorded in Colombia, but the sound carries that international air that has already taken him to Australia, where crowds sang his songs as if they were their own. He’s not an artist who stays in one place: his music travels, and so does he.

And behind it all is his personal story, which sometimes seems as vibrant as his beats. As a child, he lived in Maracay, Venezuela, and though he only stayed for a year and a half, he remembers that time fondly. He also admitted that as a teenager he weighed 134 kilos, but changing his habits gave him the energy for his shows. It’s no small detail: that discipline is clear on stage, where he doesn’t just sing but infects the crowd. Beéle isn’t just a name on a song; he’s an artist building something that sounds like the future.
