Vas A Morir Con Eso

The sound of Spanish psychedelic rock found an expression in the group Tabaco, who released their only LP, Desintegración, in 1971. This album is the only full-length recording the band ever published, making it a singular piece of their career. Approaching Desintegración, one discovers the sonic proposal that Tabaco developed, immersed in the characteristics of the psychedelic rock of the era. The singularity of being their only discographic work confers it a distinctive place, offering a window into their musical exploration in that year.

About the album

Vas A Morir Con Eso, according to DoReSol

The lineup of Tabaco for Desintegración was composed of Jordi Molet on drums, Eduardo Gonzalez on bass and organ, Mariano Escriu on guitar, and Josep M. Abella as vocalist. This combination of instruments, including the organ, is representative of the sound the group explored within psychedelic rock. The fact that Desintegración is their only LP, released in 1971, means that this work is the only complete sample of Tabaco's musical direction. For a musician approaching this album, it is interesting to observe how these components came together to shape their sonic proposal in a single release.
