Mystic Love

Mystic Love by Los Pericos, released in November 1998, marks a turning point in the trajectory of this Argentine band. It was the first work they recorded in their own space, the Robledo Sound Machine studio, before taking it to Los Angeles for the mixing stage. The album is clearly divided into two sections: one that explores the band's characteristic sound, with tracks like Sin Cadenas, Pupilas Lejanas, Monkey Man, and La Hiena, and another that ventures into more exploratory territories, presenting pieces like Islandia, Rata China, and Mónaco GP.

About the album

Mystic Love, according to DoReSol

This album, which delves into the roots of reggae but also embraces rock and ska, represents a sonic evolution for Los Pericos. The duality present in Mystic Love allows for an appreciation of both the energy that defines them and their willingness to experiment and expand their musical palette, offering the listener a journey that traverses different atmospheres and styles, while always maintaining their own identity.
