El Tesoro De Los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel)

When Indio Solari, after his time with Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, decided to embark on his solo career, he did so with El Tesoro De Los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel). This work, released at the end of 2004, marked the beginning of a new phase, accompanied by Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado. The album's gestation began in 2003, with Solari demoing the musical ideas, lyrics, and images that would shape this record. For the cover art, a drawing by Rocambole was used, originally intended for a Patricio Rey poster that was never released. The recording took place at the Luzbola studio, and distribution was handled by Distribuidora Belgrano (DBN).

About the album

El Tesoro De Los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel), according to DoReSol

The presentation of El Tesoro De Los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel) had significant dimensions. In 2005, the album was celebrated at the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata, drawing 50,000 people, and then it crossed the Atlantic to be presented at the Velódromo Municipal in Montevideo before 15,000 attendees. These presentations, which evoked the stage where the band took its first steps, were held within the framework of the band's twentieth anniversary. Although Indio Solari could not be physically present at these shows due to health complications, his presence was felt through recordings prepared in his studio.

The album includes songs like Nike es la cultura and Amnesia, which were added to Solari's repertoire. The cassette edition of El Tesoro De Los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel) is a point of curiosity, with a single photograph circulating online documenting its existence, and the artist himself does not remember its release in that format with complete certainty. All compositions on the album are attributed to "Guest Artist," and the final mix was done at Luzbola.
